Coury Mascagni, Executive Director
Coury Mascagni is an attorney licensed in the District of Columbia. Coury graduated magna cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, in 2012, which is a law school in Washington, D.C. committed to public interest law. As a member of both the Delinquency Panel and the Child Abuse and Neglect Panel at D.C. Superior Court, Coury receives court appointments to represent families and juveniles involved in the court system. Coury focuses his practice on special education advocacy ensuring D.C. students are provided the appropriate supports to succeed both academically and in life.
John Horne
John Horne is an attorney licensed in the District of Columbia. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law before moving to D.C. and clerking for the United States Tax Court. John currently resides in D.C. area and practices tax law.
James King
James King is a Staff Attorney with the Public Defender Service for District of Columbia in the Trial Division. James graduated from the Central Michigan University. James briefly played professional football after graduation. After being falsely accused of a crime, his passion transferred from athletics to the law. James graduated from the University of the District of Columbia's, David A. Clarke School of Law in 2012. At Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, James represents adults and juveniles charged as adults in D.C. Superior Court and in front of the United States Parole Commission.
Coy McKinney
Coy McKinney obtained a history degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, in 2008, and a law degree from the University of the District of Columbia's, David A. Clarke School of Law in 2012. Since graduation, Coy has worked on urban farming initiatives in D.C., and currently helps coordinate a community garden in Southwest, D.C., and teaches Urban Farming and Environmental Science at Friendship Technology Preparatory Academy.
Liana Rizzi
Liana Rizzi is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of the District if Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law. She is dual-barred in the state of Florida and the District of Columbia. Liana currently works at Bloomberg BNA as a Client Success Manager bringing legal technological solutions to some of the District's largest law firms and prestigious law schools.
